Have A Cute Day

You can find me this week over at "Have A Cute Day." I got brave and decided to send them my outfits for a week, which might be a little daunting, but I think I can do it! This blog is inspiring me to try a little harder. Check it out, it might just be your new favorite blog too.

I Love the First Smiles

Shhhh, don't tell Michael but while he's napping everyday (Yes folks, he's still taking two long naps a day) Preston and I have some quality bonding time. Preston has given us smiles every now and then, but lately he's really started to cheese it up. Isn't he adorable? Tomorrow he turns 2 months old...sniff, sniff.
It is blowing my mind that he is so chubby. When I had Michael I just assumed that all my babies would be skinny, stiff, strong, alert, active, and allergic. Preston's proving me wrong with most of those! Preston is chubby, laid back, sleepy, cuddly, sweet and so far no signs of milk and soy allergies, although going on that special diet (NO DAIRY, NO SOY) I had to with Michael would help me shed this weight....that's a whole other blog post for another day!

Snuggle Bug

Tomorrow we're off to Priest Lake to be with my whole family (minus Elder Lybbert on his mission). Let's just hope the weather miraculously decides to be nicer then forecasted.

Homies

It's moments like this that make me glad I have two babies who are already best friends, although I don't think Preston has a choice.{ Pretty darn cute that Michael is laying in same position as Preston. Not so cute that he's sticking his finger in his mouth.}
And it's moments like this that I realize I have my hands full.

Hang Time

Last night at 6:15 it was still 108 degrees outside, and Michael was driving me nuts. Maybe it had to do with the fact that he is obsessed with Preston and would not leave him alone and was destructing my house. The "newness" of a new baby has not worn off for Michael. If anything more and more he wants to be by Preston, kissing him, shoving his pacifier in his mouth, pushing him in his swing, kissing him, hugging him, kissing him, holding him, biting him, pinching him, kissing him, laying by him. Did I mention kissing him enough? You name it, Michael is doing it to his brother. He loves his brother almost too much. It's cute and scary all at the same time. It keeps me on my toes that's for sure. The kid has an endless supply of energy. He does not slow down for anything or anyone. I'm tired just thinking about it. So, back to my point. It was hot, I wanted to let him get some of his energy out, so I stuck him in his pool. He started jumping off the little slide, and I got some hilarious pictures. Don't mind the Ariel diaper; they were on sale. Kyle said he'd like to see another one and half year old get as much hang time as this kid. Enjoy....
