Visiting Clara

After preschool last Tuesday I decided we better go visit Clara in Spokane that evening. We had a great visit with her and Brian and my boys behaved pretty good.  She was doing an outpatient transfusion, and had been there most of the day, so we are glad we could come distract her for a little while.  The hospital has lots of great toys for kids, and they love to race around in the cars. Clara has her surgery this Thursday (it was postponed due to low blood counts). We have been able to spend a little bit of time with her this weekend before she goes back to Spokane. Michael and Preppy love Clara, as do we all.  Clara has a special spirit about her and we cherish the time we get to spend with her. We wish Clara and her family lots of luck this week as she undergoes such a serious surgery.
